Overview

This programme runs at Coventry University London in October 2017 and January 2018.

Fashion is not just about shopping - it is about having a full understanding of what motivates people to buy. You will explore the management of product development and learn how to get a product from the drawing board to point of sale. Tailored towards developing your skills this dynamic subject will inspire your business and creative career aspirations.

Studying BA (Hons) International Fashion Management and Marketing Top Up at Coventry University London - in the heart of the City of London and neighbouring the uber-fashion district that is Shoreditch and London’s East End - opens up a range of exciting opportunities to understanding the fast-paced, changing nature of fashion marketing and management.

Top-up programmes allow entry to the final year of a BA degree programme for students who already hold a Level 5 qualification in a related field who have a sound background of study and knowledge.

How will this course be taught? 

  • Students will have six contact hours per module per week in each term. This will be divided into Knowledgecasts (lectures), seminars, other activities such as group activity or field trips;
  • Students will be supported by their dedicated Programme Leaders and Module Leaders, and a Final Project Supervisor;
  • Through peer interaction and collaboration via Coventry University London’s online learning platform.
  •  You will be assigned a Personal Tutor to support your progress in your studies throughout the duration of the programme.

How will I be assessed? 

We take a holistic approach to assessments with an aim to help students to become more critical, confident and independent. This programme is assessed through a mixture of seminar and workshop activities, presentations, written assignments, individual submissions and group works.
