A unique, diverse and multi-disciplined degree programme, this new course prepares you for a career in marketing, social media, trend forecasting, product development, visual communication, PR and entrepreneurship.
The course is designed to meet the changing requirements of the intimate apparel industry. You will study aspects of intimate apparel concept inspiration, idea development, image, trend, styling, enterprise and business, industry and communication skills, social media applications and marketing.
You will benefit from our extensive industry links with the intimate apparel industry and have the opportunity to work with companies on live projects and competitions. The programme has an optional placement year, with opportunities for international and UK based placements.

Facilities and features
Facilities
Our new Art and Design facilities in the Vijay Patel building included studio workshops and CAD labs.
You also have access to the most up to date trend prediction publications and databases.
Library
The main Kimberlin Library is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year (other than in exceptional circumstances) and offers a huge range of online resources, all of which can be remotely accessed from anywhere you choose.
The library is run by dedicated staff who offer additional support to students, including help with academic writing, research strategies, literature searching and reference management and assistive technology, and mathematical skills for non-maths students. There is also a Just Ask service for help and advice, available via email or telephone.
Learning zones
Our comfortable and well-equipped study areas provide a range of environments to suit your needs.
Our Learning Zones and The Greenhouse provide flexible spaces, whether you are working as a group, practising a presentation or working quietly on your own.
They feature workstations with power supplies for laptops, plus bookable syndicate rooms with plasma screens, laptops and DVD facilities. Wi-Fi is available across all campus locations.

Placements
We encourage you to undertake work experience opportunities during vacation time to broaden your personal skills and to experience the world of work, particularly in trend prediction, where the course has excellent links with WGSN, and Concepts Paris.
The course has an optional placement year, supported by a faculty placement unit.
