Historia i francuski, z rocznym pobytem za granicą, bada historię poprzez tematy takie jak historia i płeć kobiet, współczesna brytyjska historia społeczna oraz historia religii, zdrowia i medycyny. Będziesz także studiować bogatą różnorodność języka francuskiego, kultury, filmu, historii, tłumaczeń i nauczania języków.
Studiowanie tego czteroletniego kierunku licencjackiego otwiera szereg ekscytujących możliwości kariery, pomagając rozwijać umiejętności, które są wysoko cenione przez pracodawców.

You’ll be taught by staff who are experts in film, gender studies, medieval and early modern literature, theatre studies, travel writing and translation.
You will spend your third year in France where you can either study at a University, teach in a school or work in a business.
Closer to home there are plenty of opportunities to further enhance your student experience and career prospects, The Swansea University Work Placement Programmes offer three work place programmes: Week of Work (WOW); Swansea paid Internship Programme (SPIN) and Santander Universities Funded Placements.
You can also link up with the Swansea Employability Academy (SEA). It provides a network connecting students with employers. You can attend talks and workshops as well as student led networking events.
YOUR FRENCH AND HISTORY EXPERIENCE
During your four-year History and French course you will have an academic mentor for any pastoral and academic support you may need, and The Society of Ancient Studies and History student society organises social and cultural events.
We offer varied and flexible course content and you can tailor your degree to your own interests. As you progress through your course, you can choose to specialise in medieval, early modern or modern history.
FRENCH AND HISTORY EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
92.3 per cent of Modern Languages Single and Joint Honours Graduates from Swansea University are in work and/or further study six months after graduation. (HESA Performance Indicator sourced from the DLHE survey 2013/14.)
Students on this course typically develop excellent oral and writing skills and you will also learn to develop your ideas in a wide range of formats, along with strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
