Nanomedycyna to interfejs medycyny klinicznej, farmacji, medycyny regeneracyjnej i nano (geno) toksykologii. Rosnące zapotrzebowanie i świadomość zastosowań nanotechnologii w medycynie doprowadziły do pojawienia się nanomedycyny.

YOUR NANOMEDICINE EXPERIENCE
From the moment you arrive at the Medical School, our specialist staff will help you plan and prepare for your future by identifying and developing skills that will enable you to make the most of your postgraduate degree, and enhance your career options.
You’ll have the opportunity to carry out collaborative research with industry, including hi-tech medical device companies based in the Medical School’s Institute of Life Science.
The programme will give you generic evidence based practice training with additional modules exploring areas in which the Centre for NanoHealth specialises, including; Pharmaceuticals and novel therapeutics, drug development and regulatory considerations, imaging and diagnostics, research design, ethics and implementation, statistical platforms and data analysis for life science applications, nano(geno) toxicology, biomaterials and regenerative medicine, all taught by leading researchers in the field.
As part of the MSc students are encouraged to interact with the wider nanotechnology and nanomedicine community, by becoming members of the British Society for Nanomedicine attending the annual conference/seminars.
YOUR NANOMEDICINE EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
A postgraduate degree is designed to equip our graduates with transferable skills that are highly valued in the workplace. Our research-led ethos ensures that students explore the frontiers of scientific knowledge, and the intensive practical components provide rigorous training in cutting edge technical skills that are used in the modern biosciences (scientific or clinical research career in the fields of nanomedicine and advanced therapeutics) while working in areas of world-leading expertise within the School.
The nanomedicine course appeals to all sectors in life sciences. We have students who have left the course and gone onto industry, academia (PhDs) and professional vocations. Most do stay on in academia; some do a PhD in a more specific field related to nanomedicine, others go on to Graduate Entry Medicine. Some have gone onto industry, with a range of biopharmaceutical to biotechnology companies in the fields of drug/technology testing and development.
