If you are a graduate working in a healthcare setting and looking to take your career to the next level, our MSc in Adult Nursing is for you.
Designed for non-registered healthcare practitioners, this two-year Master’s degree course will give you the skills and experience to launch a rewarding career in this essential profession.
You will learn about the holistic needs of people from early adulthood until old age and develop the professional skills to provide high quality nursing care in in a range of clinical and community settings.
As you progress, you will develop the skills to assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate evidence-based care to promote the health and wellbeing of adults with acute and chronic conditions.

YOUR ADULT NURSING EXPERIENCE
Our excellent facilities in the College of Human and Health Sciences include a realistic clinical suite so you can put your theoretical knowledge into practice in an environment that reflects as closely as possible the actual conditions that you will experience when you go on placement in a hospital or community setting.
You will spend 40 weeks of your course on placement, gaining experience in a diverse range of nursing settings, including hospitals, the community, and nursing homes.
You can also study part of your nursing Master’s degree through the medium of Welsh and may be eligible for internal scholarships or financial support through Coleg Cymraeg.
ADULT NURSING CAREER
On graduation, you will be eligible to apply for Registered Nurse (Adult) status with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and to register as a nurse for work in EU and EEA.
Job prospects are excellent, with 100 per cent of our nursing graduates employed in a professional or managerial job within six months (Unistats 2017).
