Excellent placement opportunities
After the second year, you will have the opportunity to undertake a year’s work placement in industry. This will give you the chance to gain vital experience and put your knowledge into practice.
Going on placement is an option part of the course. Recent Chemistry students that chose this route secured positions in companies including:

Science and technology placement salaries range from £10,000 to £30,000 and many students impress their placement employers so much they are offered jobs upon graduation.
You will be assessed throughout the year and will be required to write a reflective report and diary which also gets assessed at the end of your placement. On completion of a successful placement, you will be eligible to receive a Diploma in Professional Practice.
