COURSE OVERVIEW
Kierunek German and History, BA (Hons), z rocznym pobytem za granicą, bada historię poprzez tematy takie jak historia kobiet, współczesna brytyjska historia społeczna oraz historia religii, zdrowia i medycyny. Będziesz także studiować bogatą różnorodność języka niemieckiego, kultury, filmu, historii, tłumaczeń i nauczania języków. Based at our stunning Singleton Park campus, in parkland overlooking Swansea Bay on the edge of the Gower Peninsula, our History and German courses at Swansea University are highly regarded by students and employers:

You’ll be taught by staff who are experts in film, gender studies, medieval and early modern literature, theatre studies, travel writing and translation.
You will spend your third year in Germany where you can either study at a University, teach in a school or work in a business.
Closer to home there are plenty of opportunities to further enhance your student experience and career prospects, The Swansea University Work Placement Programmes offer three work place programmes: Week of Work (WOW); Swansea paid Internship Programme (SPIN) and Santander Universities Funded Placements.
You can also link up with the Swansea Employability Academy (SEA). It provides a network connecting students with employers. You can attend talks and workshops as well as student led networking events.
YOUR GERMAN AND HISTORY EXPERIENCE
During your four-year History and German course you will have an academic mentor for any pastoral and academic support you may need, and The Society of Ancient Studies and History student society organises social and cultural events.
We offer varied and flexible course content and you can tailor your degree to your own interests. As you progress through your course, you can choose to specialise in medieval, early modern or modern history.
