COURSE OVERVIEW
Are you interested in a career in quality management? As consumer demand grows for products and services across the world so do expectations of quality. A career in this growing sector is an important role, as by ensuring safety and reliability of their products, companies can also increase profits and competitiveness, which means highly skilled graduates are in demand.
This MSc Management (International Standards) programme at Swansea University is focused specifically on the role of international standards (such as ISO or British Standards) in quality management and improvement. The course includes modules focused on how to implement and develop quality standards systems in organisations. As part of this programme you will undertake an independent management consulting style project on international standards.
You will also cover core management concepts such as managing financial resources, operations management, human resource management and marketing management.
Accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), the only chartered professional body in the UK dedicated to promoting the highest standards in management and leadership excellence, the course is open to students from any discipline who would like to work in business or management. Once you have graduated you will receive a CMI level 7 certificate.
