The Foundation Year is an excellent pathway to gaining the required knowledge and skills in business, operations and supply management, before joining Year 1 students of the BSc Business Management (Operations and Supply Management) degree within the School of Management.
During your degree, as well as covering the core areas of business and management, you will develop the practical skills and mind-set required for a role in operations and supply management. The course is perfect for students who have a clear interest in understanding and approving how things are made, be it products or services.
You will study a range of key business topics that include: marketing, accounting, finance, strategy and human resource management alongside modules which are dedicated to operations and supply management.
The Foundation Year is taught at The College, located next to the School of Management. Once you complete this year, you will move to the School of Management building for the remainder of your studies.
