Your Development and Human Rights Experience
You will study a set number of 20-credit development and human rights modules before taking a 60-credit dissertation project of your choosing in the second part of the course.
The compulsory modules are: human rights law, conceptual issues of social sciences, and rights-based approaches to development. Key historical and policy concepts are also covered.
Optional modules span from the state of Africa to postcolonialism, orientalism and eurocentrism, and from gender and the social sciences to cyber governance.
Your dissertation is written on a specialist research topic of your choice.
