The MSc in Global Logistics, Operations and Supply Chain Management has been designed to enable you to acquire an in-depth understanding of the major areas of knowledge and philosophical approaches that underpin the concept of the Global Supply Process.
The programme philosophy is to develop this knowledge and understanding of the specialist area of supply chain management, whilst placing it firmly within an organisational context. The key specialist modules are resultant from both academic and professional influence as to strategic change factors within the global supply process.

In addition to the development of both specialist and the wider organisational knowledge, Developing Global Management Competencies I and II will enhance your personal development through the acquisition of transferable, intellectual and personal skills, which is particularly focused on developing managers with both emotional, cultural and business intelligence.
This course combines management studies with a strong specialist focus on operations, logistics and supply chain management (LCSM). The specialist LCSM modules cover strategic procurement, sustainable supply chains, improving the supply chain, and strategic partnerships. The course culminates in either a masters dissertation or, if you prefer, a consultancy project where you’ll tackle an issue faced by a real client.
You will be taught through a mixture of lectures, seminars and workshops, totalling around 14 hours per week. You will also be expected to engage in independent study involving directed and self-directed learning, around 33 hours per week.
Assessment is based on exams and coursework, including presentations.
You’ll be taught by experienced lecturers and academics who use their industry experience to demonstrate how the theories you will learn translate in to real life situations.
