Our degree in business economics is designed to provide you with a solid grounding in analytical methods and how to apply them to a range of problems. Addressing areas such as inequality, poverty and recession, we believe economics must help to build and more equitably share prosperity, create meaningful employment, and ensure the transition to a carbon-neutral future.
Study the history of economics through managing global business networks, as well as elements of other subjects such as politics, marketing and geography, providing a balance between statistical analysis and written arguments. Learn how to analyse data using statistical software and databases employed across a variety of industries, providing you experience that is vital for employment and postgraduate study.
Upon graduating, you’ll be able to apply theory and data handling skills to analyse real-world economic and business problems in fields such as finance, government, NGOs, research, and education.
