Our physical education and sport degree teaches you the principles of teaching and coaching. The main disciplines include sport psychology, sport and exercise physiology, sociology of sport, and sport policy and development. By participating in athletics, dance, games, gymnastics, outdoor and adventurous activities and swimming, you will explore the practical areas of the national curriculum for PE.
This degree will develop your contemporary knowledge and understanding of PE and sport, as well as relevant skills for a range of sport-related careers. It is taught at Avery Hill Campus, home to our extensive sports facilities and where most of our student sports take place.
