This BSc (Hons) Professional Practice (Healthcare) is a flexible programme designed to enable suitably qualified and experienced practitioners to ‚top up’ a Level 5 qualification to a degree, through a number of different pathways.
Each module is awarded a number of credits and can be studied on a stand-alone basis, providing greater flexibility when working towards the BSc (Hons) qualification.

What will I study?
The course requires you to complete a total of 120 credits at Level 6, typically from four 30 credit modules. You can choose the modules you wish to study from a number of options, depending on your study interests or the pathway you wish to follow. Specific content will depend on module choice.
For the default Healthcare pathway, only the final Dissertation module is core.
For the Nursing Pathway you need to have an NMC qualification but only the dissertation module is core.
For all other pathways you need to complete the core module, and your dissertation should focus on the core subject. For example for the Cardiac Care pathway you will do the Cardiac care module, 2 x optional modules and a dissertation focussing on cardiac care.
