International Banking and Finance Law


Part of our comprehensive range of LLM programmes, the LLM in International Banking and Finance Law offers you a pathway to specialise in law relating to the global finance and banking sectors.

Information Technology


The MSc Information Technology prepares you for the intellectual, analytical and practical challenges of a career in IT. You will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to collate information, define, design and build or select the most appropriate IT solutions and develop a deeper understanding of how those solutions apply to professional contexts.

You can study part-time whilst in full-time employment, as there are few pre-requisites for most modules.


The tools to take you to the next stage


Upon graduation, you will be able to critically evaluate developments and new applications of information and communication technology systems, and relate them to the roles and uses of IT in different business settings. You will also have an enhanced understanding of system problems and how to choose the right methods and approaches to develop systems.

Human Resource Management (part-time)


Imaginative and expertly-designed human resource management (HRM) is seen by today’s leaders as central to an organisation’s success. HR practitioners are an integral part of that success, and as recognition of the distinctive contribution of human resource management grows, it is increasingly valued, both as a career in its own right and as a foundation for careers in other branches of management.

The MSc in Human Resource Management (part-time) is for students who are pursuing an HR career in the UK. Tailored to the needs of HR professionals the course is recognised by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), providing a route into the people profession in a wide range of industry sectors. We’ll consider applications from graduates of any discipline, as well as those with CIPD level 5 qualification and/or significant HR experience.

Your workplace supervisor and research tutor will guide you towards a viable, creative and business-focused solution.

Health Psychology


Interest in health psychology is growing rapidly among psychologists and other health service and occupational health professionals mostly thanks to the shifting emphasis in provision and governance of healthcare in the UK, and changes to the NHS’ organisation and mission.


Excellent teaching and research


As a health psychologist, you’ll provide valuable insights to a range of activities, and your skills will be highly sought-after in roles across the NHS, in private practice and in the charitable sector.

You may be providing psychological assessment and support in acute care situations, managing the psychological care and rehabilitation of people with chronic illnesses, or getting involved in health promotion activities including smoking cessation and dietary management.

There are also opportunities, after the MSc Health Psychology, to go on to academic teaching and research positions.

Graphic Arts


This creative and experimental MA in Graphic Arts brings together graphic designers, illustrators, and individuals from related industries to engage with communication design practice at a deeper level. You will research, investigate and debate the nature and dynamics of communication, and explore how they can produce meaningful outcomes using conventional and unconventional forms.

You will develop your design process: from creative strategies for generating ideas; gathering and analysing information; producing text; to producing final outcomes to industry standards. Skills development is embedded throughout and a vital re-skilling stage, a series of technical workshops delivered by experienced technical staff, ensures you are up-to-date and industry-ready.

Forensic Science


Why study MSc Forensic Science?


MSc Forensic Science is accredited by the Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences. It was designed with input from professional forensic scientists to give you a deep understanding of the way science is used to investigate crime.

This conversion course means you do not have to currently hold an undergraduate degree in Forensic Science to apply for this.

It provides you with the required knowledge and skills to enter into a career in forensic science.

During this one year masters, you’ll receive high level training in analytical science, incorporating elements of biology, chemistry and law. You’ll gain an in-depth understanding of not only the scientific issues that affect the outcome of criminal trials, but also societal factors such as unconscious bias and juror expectation.

Forensic science is the application of a broad range of scientific analyses for the assistance of courts of law. If you have an analytical mind-set and enjoy problem-solving, this master’s course will enable you to deepen your knowledge gained from a scientific or analytical background, to specialise in a field where you’ll add real value to society.

You’ll also undertake a substantial research project based on your interests and career goals.
